Me and one of my best friends visited the aintree store a couple of weeks ago and was looked after by Nicky. I thought I had already decided on my pram, however as soon as I saw the silver cross reef I knew that was the one. Before I made my decision, Nicky talked through the pram and showed me how to take it down put it back up etc and let me take it outside for a walk. I felt really confident that I wasn’t just choosing the pram because it was gorgeous, but because it is a really great pram and exactly what I need. My family live in Leeds so we will be travelling a lot so the fact that the pram turns into a travel cot is BRILLIANT.
Special thanks to Nicky for making the process so memorable and smooth. The rest of the team were lovely as well!
As there was still the silver cross event on for the launch of the new prams, I got one of the silver cross gift box for being one of the first 30 customers and entered to win the cost of the pram (fingers crossed I win haha) thanks again! Can’t wait to visit the shop again Xxx

I recent experienced a warranty issue with my cybex pram, obviously I wasn't dealing directly with cybex but there was some
Communication issues across the board.
First I received a faulty seat and was subsequently sent out two incorrect seats ( there is the most miniscule difference between the two) so I can see how this happened but it has been a frustrating time none the less.

Lisa managed to rectify the issue and I can now at last use my double pram. Initial purchase was straight forward, competitively priced, and shipping was fast.

Ordered a babyzen yoyo complete pack in early April. Delayed for almost 7 weeks due to the item being out of stock. Our son arrived at the end of May and it was a mad dash to get the final bits sorted. He stayed in the NICU for a further 3 weeks.
When he was finally home, we braved the outdoors in early July with the newborn pack. Clearly faulty on first use. Front wheels rattling and shaking uncontrollably. Wheels jamming and getting stuck. It was traumatising for us and for baby and clearly unsafe and dangerous and stopped using it. Contacted them, they asked for a video. Followed up over 4 times over a 2 month period. Was reassured that they were following up my warranty claim daily. We're now in September, only to be told that their supplier had been taken over in July and I needed to contact them directly. Would have been helpful to be told this initially and not lied to. Nothing had been done in over 2 months. First and last time buying from them. I'll take my business to JL for exceptional customer service and peace of mind.

Ordered an Uppa baby vista v2 travel system with car seat and base.Needed it as I needed a tandem pram for our new arrival. The delivery time was quoted as 2-3 days. I was fine as our baby was not due for a week. The car seat and base arrived on time. The pram didn’t.
Phoned them and they said I had only ordered the car seat. They realised their mistake and said they’d dispatch it that day. No update for two days. Phoned them again and again denied I’d placed an order. Again realised their mistake and said they’d dispatch it for sure that day.
My baby is born and now we enter 10 days since I placed an order. Phoned them again and they said they will call their supplier and it will hopefully reach them by 7 working days and then they’ll dispatch the seat. I asked them to cancel my order. They told me to return the seat unopened. I told them that I brought my baby home in that seat. Then they said they can only refund me the price of the pram and they’ll charge for the base and car seat. I told them the reason I bought the travel system was to get a discount as it comes bundled together and normally I wouldn’t buy a car seat and base that expensive.
I put a complaint in and they were prompt in responding. They apologised for the mistake and sent me a small gift for my new born which was a nice touch. Not happy with the experience but happy with the fact that they have an active customer service who do respond and listen. And they own up to mistakes and these things can happen so no hard feelings in the end. Will be happy to order from them in the future.

What an amazing experience! We visited Direct for Baby last weekend, our first shopping trip since finding out about our little joy! This is our first baby so we really had no clue what to look for, but Nicky was super helpful and gave us lots of great advice on both prams and car seats! We were so impressed after going away to think about what we wanted, we came back to purchase the next day!

Nicky wasn’t in, but thanks to her super notes detailing what we wanted in our package, her helpful colleagues were able to process our order with ease.

Can’t wait to go back in a few months for a full appointment 🤍

AVOID. Selling broken items that are dangerous. Sent me a broken car seat, and tried to send an engineer to fix it despite the seat being compromised. Waited in all day, but the engineer never turned up.

Said they would collect the seat. Courier was sent to the wrong address by the store. Direct 4 Baby ignored messages and pretended that they never received them.

Completely unprofessional company who sell unsafe products. Do not purchase from Direct 4 Baby UK.

I Was honoured a price match with direct4baby which I have an email to confirm this. On the Mamas and papas website, the joie laurel pushchair is £65. I completed the form on direct4baby for the price match with the relevant links. The next day received an email stating that they would honour the price match due to direct4baby selling the same pushchair for £85. Was sent a link to complete order to only find that “suddenly” was out of stock and pre order only. I emailed direct4baby back thanking them for the price match but the link to complete the order doesn’t work, to then finding out that the pushchair is out of stock ( 24hrs before hand it wasn’t) I then emailed again asking if I could pre order it for the same honoured price. Still waiting for the reply from Lucy.

After assuring me my item had been delivered and even sent photo proof(which just showed a whole load of parcels at my reception area), i thought i would just have to accept i had spent the money and got nothing. Then it arrived two months later. Then I sent it back asking for a refund, they came back to me saying it was not within the returns period-i have explained what happened and I’m still waiting for a reply and a refund! Absolutely avoid this idiotic company. No thread of continuity in their enquiries department!
