Mamas & Papas Cardiff

Travelled down from Hereford as this was our nearest store. We were looking at a particular range and also wanted advice on baby carrier to use with this in future if we have another baby. We were helped by a lovely lady called Farrah, who was very friendly and incredibly patient whilst showing us a variety of products and answered all of our many questions and gave my partner and I advice and recommendations on car seats for the future, she also gave us a full demonstration of the product we wanted which will be very helpful for when we use it ourselves. Whilst she checked stock on the item we wanted, another colleague who saw us alone asked if we were OK and if we needed any help, it is nice to have such attentiveness! We had a lovely shopping experience and left with a new pushchair for our son. It will be a pleasure to return to the store again!

At a recent visit I found the staff to be extremely helpful with excellent knowledge of their products.

Beware return of prams!
We recently bought a Joie pushchair, as our little one is getting too big for her existing pram. After taking it for a walk, I noticed that the pram handle (which is not adjustable on this model) was too low, and I was having to stoop down to push it (I am not tall at 5’9). Worse, I couldn’t walk normally as I would kick the back wheels. That evening I was suffering a lot of back and hip pain from the experience, and realised this is not the right pushchair for me. I tried to return it today and was met with no empathy, and very poor customer service. Both the assistant and manager refused a refund, as the wheels showed sign of use (barely). Well of course, it didn’t give me a back ache just looking at it! I was asked did I try it round the store, again my back isn’t so bad that it collapses after a 5m push backwards and forwards. There was no offer of an exchange, or any advice given at all, just that’s your problem now. Very poor from a trusted brand. I will be making a complaint to head office.

Be warned anyone buying a pram, refunds do not apply to you.

Visited Cardiff store to purchase a moses basket for a friend, a young lady named Rhi was so helpful,helped pick matching blankets etc...left the store really pleased with my purchase and Rhi's customer service, I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Such a nice experience in Mamas & Papas Leckwith today, we came in to look at some prams. The shop is clean and spacious. The sales assistant Fran was really helpful and knew so much about the prams we were looking at, demonstrated how to use them clearly, and was all around very friendly & encouraged all the family (my parents) to try out the pram/car seat which was lovely! Very pleased about our experience and excited for our pram to arrive :) Thank you!

Spoke to Justin here as we were after some advise on our first Pram and Car seat. Honest, genuine advice, very knowledgeable. Booked an appt to go back in 2 weeks ready for our first new born!

No quibble exchange or refund I do not think so !!! Appalling, item for exchange in original packaging with receipt, advised "most people Google or utube the items before purchase!! still waiting for a manager to call me given customer care number closed on Sunday!! I have shopped in the cardiff store, for all my grandchildren from clothes to full nursery furniture to be treated in this way is unbelievable will be taking my complaint to trading standards.
