Bread Source

Everyone knows the bread here is amazing, I do love the sourdough. Today I just found these small beauties. As Portuguese I love a good custard tart and in UK it is difficult to find proper ones. Today I have found the best custard tarts outside Portugal (apart from mine). Everyone should try them.

Tucked in the market this is a pastry delight. Cinnamon buns and raspberry swirl pastry’s from dream. Two other outlets across NORWICH also worth visiting... a bit of a local institution.

The best bakery in Norwich! My friends recommended Bread Source, and now I have recommended this lovely bakery to a lot of my friends.
It offers various and delicious breads and coffee, and the atmosphere is also chill and lovely.
It’s good for both breakfast and brunch. My favourite are chocolate one and berries and pistachio one:)!
Anyway YOU MUST GO when coming to Norwich.
Definitely I’m going there at last 10 times before leaving Norwich in this summer.

I have been purchasing bread, croissants and sausage rolls from this gem of a stall for a few years now. As someone who is intolerant to preservatives in supermarket bread, it is truly an amazing feeling to purchase bread that is made in a traditional way with the traditional ingredients, just as it should be. The service has always been friendly and excellent and of course the bread tastes superb. As with ‘proper’ bread it quickly stales but is revived by toasting or making it into breadcrumbs to use later. Not a crumb is wasted 🤗

Bread Source is such a great environment to do my university work in with a coffee and a baked good (rate the cinnamon buns). It has definitely proved a hit amongst myself and my house mates as we often go on a Sunday morning. I have also recommended it to my parents and it's now my dad's favourite cafe to sit in while my mum goes shopping. Wholeheartedly recommend!

My friend and I ordered an assortment of goodies which were delivered this morning. We were delighted with the amazing bread and especially the raspberry and pistachio rolls. I would recommend Bread Source to anyone who wants a real treat. Thankyou Bread Source we will be back.

Whoever that was on shift at around 2pm to 3pm today 11 of Jan had some deplorable customer service skills.

We were in line and my partner was having a little extra trouble deciding what to get.

When she had it, I started saying what we were getting but was cut off by a rude customer behind us who decided that we were too slow. The person on shift decided to aid the other customer and proceeded to treat my partner and I transparent.

I was frustrated at first but I wasn't too mad at it as I thought she might've just acknowledged later to us about ignoring us. Or at least a simple word of sorry.

But no, completely ignored like nothing happened.

Bread source as usual is a great place for bread and pastries, have always had great customer service. Didn't expect something like this to happen today at all.
