Bought a cup of regular tea and a steak pasty from this bakery. The tea was weak, watery and tasteless (I asked for one sugar but did not taste it until the last few sips, the lady that served me and made the drink clearly didn't bother to stir it) The tea was not the worst part. I bit into the steak pasty and the crust tasted oddly SOUR! I ate through half way and the entire filling tasted sour, that's when it dawned on me that the pasty had gone off. It was supposed to be a normal steak pasty, so it really shouldn't have tasted anything like what I have. It was so expired that it left a funny aftertaste in my mouth. I chucked the rest away.
It's despicable that this bakery thinks it is okay to serve old, stale and gone off food to customers for such an extortionate price. With the amount of money I paid, I should have been to Greggs instead. At least they serve me hot fresh food.
I was in such a hurry to be elsewhere after my horrid lunch experience, otherwise I'd have gone back and demanded a refund. Disgusting. 0/10

Very friendly staff and the cream cake was delicious

Great selection of bread and cakes, tea and coffee with a fresh sandwich of your choosing is very reasonable. You watch them make them fresh with a filling of your choice
