Greggs

Queued for a soup and savoury snack and sandwich for my girlfriend, found out there was no soup left (no sign anywhere indicating this). Had to go back to the sandwiches to choose something else and was then at the back of a queue out the door. The server wasn't helpful and could have suggested I choose something else while she waits. Just not a good experience in general, messy floor etc.

However, very good value for money and the food is delicious when they've not ran out of it.

A zero rating which I'm not allowed to do. Just purchased a 'Steak & Mature Cheese Baguette' which was a total waste of money. The so called "mature" cheese was remarkable in the absence of any taste, it might well have not been there for all the good it did, the steaks presence was only noticeable by its texture, the chutney was so over sweet it may just have well been sugar. When I requested some salt to try and improve the experience I was told curtly by an apparently disinterested employee that we "don't do salt". No explanation when asked why bar a shrug. Positive side? It was hot and the nbaguette was crispy!

A friend & I call into Greggs every Wednesday for a coffee & a sausage roll, but the things that really annoy us is that tables are rarely cleared and wiped down, leaving mess everywhere. The toilets are another bone of contention in that they are untidy withe dirty used tissues stuffed beihind pipework, otherwise the staff are friendly and the sausage rolls are good, especially when they are hot

Great little Gregg's store. Lots of choice for a quick snack. Can get busy at lunchtime. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is quick and prices are reasonable. I would recommend a visit!
