Greggs

Since moving to Letchworth, I have ordered from Greggs on Just Eat twice and both times the order has been messed up. This time however, I am self isolation with COVID and when parts of my order didn’t turn up I couldn’t just pop to the shop and collect it, so I called the shop and the employee who answered told me to get a refund for the missing items through Just Eat taking no responsibility for his error and refusing to bring me the missing items.

If I claim the money back for the missing items and re-order the missing items, I would then have to pay for it to be delivered again, what is the point?

I remember a time when you called a restaurant that messed up your delivery and they would apologise before correcting their mistake and sending you what you had originally ordered, perhaps I’m just old but if I make a mistake I’d try my best to rectify it immediately.

Used to eat the vegan sausage rolls in Stevenage, they were warm, crispy and amazing. Lately in Letchworth they are cold, although gives you the impression there going to be warm under the light, but in fact they are stone cold, very little sausage in it and the pastry hard, chewy and just awful!! Not sure if it's just Letchworth but I wouldn't advise buying any pastries unless you don't mind stone cold pastry that tastes like it was left from the previous day!! On a positive note the latta is good and priced well.

Poor customer service, blamed the customer for there mistake, and now I am without a refund and no food has turned up… 2 hours after ordering.

For u lot saying food was cold, greggs never advertised it to be, you just have to be lucky when they take it out the oven

It's a Greggs you get what you pay for. Nice enough staff and they always seem to have hot sausage rolls.

Pop in every now and then after work and Laureen and her colleagues, always great service and food and drink and warm atmosphere

Seems to run out of the vegan options quite quickly which is good for the world but not for me haha.

I realised I hadn't posted a review of an Saturday morning October visit... The staff were busy talking to each other before offering assistance with my order. Further to my dismay, the chicken slice was near enough ice cold inside! Very disappointing as i was headed to work and had no time to complain once i realised. How many others has this happened to? Hopefully sorted by now...
