Discovered this bakery recently and the sourdough bread is great. They also do a variety of breads and pastries, plus coffee.

Love it! Welcoming team and delicious bakes. We go most weeks and the variety is brilliant. Our fav are the Morning Buns or Chorizo Sourdough Loaf.

First time experiencing leavened Bakery and was the sheer smell of the bread that drew us in.
We bought the cherry chocolate bun, the vegan cinnamon bun and the everything bagel sourdough loaf and just all of them were amazing. The buns didn't survive long enough for a picture but the beautiful loaf did.
We will 100% be visiting again and recommend everyone go visit.

Discovered this tiny bakery inside Stevenage’s Street Market by accident. What a discovery. Unadulterated, small scale bread and rolls in all manner of sourdough guises. Fabulous look, smell and taste. My favourites are the seeded sourdough and seeded spelt loaves. You can even choose darker or lighter bake. And owner and staff are so friendly and helpful. A weekly must.

Leavened is a real find if you live in or near Stevenage. This is real Sourdough and l have been fortunate enough to try it in very good restaurants. Lovely owner with strong values and good coffee. First taste was today, it won't be the last!
