Been going here for the past 19 years! Could not say a bad word about them, great staff and more importantly great food and cakes too! Definitely worth it. Missing out if you don't go. Greggs have nothing on em 😅

A traditional bakery located on Victoria Rd in Woolston.
Probably one of the last shops that still remain in the way we all used to shop, when each shop individually sold their wares.
It still looks like it was from those days too, which makes it even more attractive to look through the window & see what’s been freshly baked.
I recommend the sandwiches, a massive doorstep with a choice of fillings.
Hot pies & pasties or treat yourself to a cake or sponge.
Pay a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The oven door is my favourite bakery with lovely fresh handmade fresh cream cakes and lots of other treats and delights,it's well worth a visit 😋.

A fantastic local bakery serving a wide array of cakes, pastries, sandwiches and other baked goods. Been here twice so far and have yet to be disappointed. Baking and cooking happen within the premises so everything is made fresh everyday. I had the iced buns and they were light and fluffy. The creme cakes were massive and lush and not as sugary as their supermarket counterparts. Everything is reasonably priced. Importantly, staff are friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I suggest an early morning visit as most of their products tend to sell out in the afternoon. However, I'm just a bit confused why they block the window with a black curtain? Their cakes and breads are made too beautifully not to be shown off!
