Absolutely Horrific behaviour from the lady serving. So rude!! Swore at me for no reason.
Shouted at me for waiting in the Que because I’m not her own race I’m chinese?
Food is good but will never return!
Will not recommend anyone to go

Love the crusty cobs. Lady behind the counter most afternoons is very polite and helpful.

Stinks of greed and a sinking ship…… Charged £9.50 for two cobs, that were not even nice, and two cans of pop. The lady serving mentioned something about a meal deal until I questioned the crisps being sold out of a multipack (not for resale). You have to laugh really and just take your business elsewhere. I genuinely feel sorry for the staff working here as the unscrupulous owner clearly doesn’t care. This Baxter’s has gone so far downhill they may have hit gold, more than likely the only thing cared about now anyway.

And just to be pedantic here, but please don’t spell your as “you’re” on your signage. It is massively offensive.

Cobs were dry. Salad was colourless. Lack of fillings of the egg in particular. And 15 quid for four cobs is just robbery.

I don't get the hate from some of these reviews, it is what it is and it's solid. Cornish Pasty, Sausage roll and Chicken slice all very enjoyable.

Went in and bought a pastry and a home made sausage roll.

The pastry was quite nice but obviously sourced from elsewhere, whilst the homemade cob had sausages that weren't cooked properly. It didn't seem right when I ate it and now I'm not feeling well at all (I'll save the graphic descriptions)

The lady who served me also seemed incredibly disinterested and despite my attempts to start up conversation the lady was extremely blunt and unforthcoming with any politeness.

I've given it 2 stars because I'm not a horrible person.

Lady serving did her best to make conversation about the football, even if she didn't really have any interest. Very polite and well mannered staff.

Sausage and bacon cob was one of the best I've ever had.
