I have been coming to this bakery for the best part of 4 years due to the close proximity to work and the welcome and warming attitude of staff. The food here is delightful and the prices certainly aren't bad either. After reading some negative comments here it's hard to picture a scenario where things could have even been as described. The only time I've ever exchanged anything was a Sausage roll because It was a littler cooler than I expected and there was no problems at all!

Short story : Lovely people and great food!

Best doughnuts I have ever had. So fresh stuffed full of jam. The bread is good too and lasted for ages unlike supermarket bread that seems to go stale after a day or 2. Wish i lived closer!

As a kid in the late 1970's I would buy Jam Doughnuts from a shop in Fareham; they were the best I'd ever had, until today when someone bought me a doughnut from here. It was delicious; the dough was soft, the sugar not to course but not all soft and powdery and there was just the right amount of jam. The person who gifted me the doughnut bought themselves an Apple one and said that was good too. Will definitely be visiting myself to see what else I can be tempted by.

My partner and I were on the way to Porchester Castle when we ran across this lovely boullangerie. I could easily say that this is the place to go if you want quality bread for a reasonable price as evidenced by the long queue at the door.

There is a wide array of both French and British breads, pastries, and various kinds of ready made sandwhiches, and other baked goods being sold. I ordered the baguette which was baked and flavoured perfectly. It was quite reminiscent of the ones I had in France. I filled my baguette with prosciutto and cheese and felt like I was having lunch whilst on holiday in the Mediterranean again.

Also, I should mention that their apple and almond cake shouldn't be missed either. It was very soft and fluffy and the absolute tasted of almonds and possibly rather addictive.

Overall my partner and I were very happy with this place and will definitely come back again!

Staff need to be a bit more friendly and welcoming they come across very rude. The place is easy to get to with free parking and the food is nice. They have a nice selection not the greatest but the basics bread, hot sausage rolls, cold sandwiches and a selection of cakes.
