Nice store selling various hot savoury pastries, cold sandwiches & baguettes plus cakes & biscuits as well as hot & cold beverages, unfortunately for me I purchased a supposedly fresh today tuna & cucumber sandwich that had rock hard stale bread & next to no filling in it, so disappointing but the young lady who served me was very friendly.

Never any cold drinks and the staff need to be more confident I can’t even hear them

Absolutely discusted on the service of the 2 young lads here at greggs.
I asked if they had a plan in place if they had to wear gloves while serving breakfast bacon rolls as he was making it ignored me and another member of staff rudely replied with just NU.
Think at this point I was angry that my bacon roll had hands all over it as well as touching till & money.

Don't go to this greggs so rude bad service attitude on the boys.

Absolutely discusted and disappointed

I asked for Ham and cheese sandwich to be made hot, I was charged extra £1.30p
Their excuse was because using the microwave to heat up the sandwich I had to pay VAT, Ridiculous CROOKS. VAT is only 5% on heated food.
The sandwich was for a none Muslim not for me.
A young boy after me said to staff member, "I might not have enough money "
Cregg staff ignored him and asked what he wants. Then she refused to give him the pie because he didn't have enough money.
I paid the £1.40p The boy couldn't thank me enough, he was shocked a stranger helped him out.
This shop has gone from 5* last year to 1*, They closed today 2pm. 1st November 2022
Must sack the manager he is aggressive rude and has no idea how to treat customers. The look he gives his customers like is looking at dregs in society.

Cheap food that is somewhat edible.
Bakes and sausage rolls are often served cold.
Also very lucky if they are open by time you get there as they'll often close halfway through their working day for no apparent reason.

Thank you to Tony and all his staff at Greggs for providing my buffet on my Big 60 event at Ale House in Chelmsford. Full marks and something for everyone to consider.
