Always buy my cobs from here. But today my son brought a jumbo pork and stuffing and the bread was rock hard. Also he asked for a cheese and ham cob with salad cream and he got a ham salad cob instead no salad cream. Also a jumbo breakfast cob and ask for mushrooms instead of tomato but got tomatoes???? All three cobs wrong or to hard to eat.. normally it's great here but today it seems like we got all the left overs. Due to just before closing.. Also would be nice if they were open later. As some times we can't always make it there before 2 pm...

Do you like cobs? Well this is the the place to come, cobs made to your order and preference, like sausage cobs? With butter, without, soft, crusty, bacon, pork roast, (delicious stuffing),perhaps followed by a rich creamy cake. Delicious.

I’m not entirely sure how this has no other 1 star reviews. The batch was simultaneously dry and dripping with liquids. The sausage and bacon were unbearably salty to the point were I believed I was drinking sea water.the guy was nice but you would struggle to find a worse batch in Shilton.

Poor quality food in the breakfast tray, beans where congealed and bacon and sausage seemed like they where microwaved.
The caramel Doughnut was solid enough to stand on, must have been a week old

Just popped in for a bacon and sausage Cob,bread fell to bits and the bacon I swear was cooked yesterday.like cardboard,the woman serving was pleasant enough

Sign of a good place to eat is seeing bossman having breakfast there. If I go I go dead early. Always got all a full English there the "breakfast cob" ain't massive but nice price too. Nice to get grilled tomatoe and mushrooms. Always nice homemade looking munch on display too. Like sickly looking lol. Seriously decent place cheap fair price portions and bossman is sound. Doesn't give you a blank stare when you say "I've got £**.** Bossman tell me what I can have please" Reminds me of going grandma's kinda munch. Puka

Love their ham salad cobs they are amazing tried cobs from other places but nothing beats Simpkins they are always full ham and salad. I also used to enjoy the fresh cream doughnuts from there but sadly they don't do them anymore also staff are always friendly

Honestly I love the poeple that work there they are so kind and always have a smile on their faces food it delicious too
