The granary bread is excellent, £2.10 a loaf, pricier but better than Tesco & Waitrose in my opinion. I can’t comment on any of the cakes, as I’ve only ever bought the bread! .... but they look very tasty.

Ordered a lot from them on deliveroo. Bread is absolutely top tier. Sadly I have to give them a 3 star as their rustic baguettes are an absolute robbery. 3 times I have ordered a tuna baguette. First time and it came as expected. Last 2 times was literally just bread. The thinest layer of tuna in a massive baguette. I mean come on, I don't know who is making these but they need a lesson in sarnie making! Sort it out please. Be good if you can do custom baguettes or remove certain fillings but no options on deliveroo.

In my experience, staff are always friendly here. Most of the products are delicious, fresh and of a higher quality than other rival chain bakeries! My only criticism is of the Chelsea buns (at all Parsons branches, not just Bath Road). The last few times I have bought them, they've been dry, almost stale tasting and lacking much fruit or any flavour. Even butter couldn't make them edible. They seem to have a lack of cinnamon or sugar on them too. My Dad and I actually had to bin ours today. Wished we'd gone for bread and butter pudding which was far more moist. Chelsea buns vary so much but these are extremely dry and the far end of the spectrum away from cinnamon rolls etc..

Update 2022: Recently products have shrunk (baguettes particularly) and they rarely have any baguettes or pasties available in the mornings. We are going to go elsewhere from now on.

Bought a cheese & onion pasty from the Cheltenham Bath Road store and it was absolutely delicious. Lovely thick filling that actually tastes of what it is supposed to. Pastry is gorgeous as well. This is baking at its best. Excellent - well done

Normally love the sandwich meal deal.
Always end up buying lots of extras. Made special visit this morning at 0850 before a long mountain walk with a friend. Sadly despite the sandwiches being ready on the tray all packed up ready to go the lady at the back flatly refused to sell me one. For some odd reason the girl at the till seemed to find it amusing. I hope the owner has a word. It felt totally unnecessary. The pasty I did take away was dry and ended up half eaten in my labradors belly.

Can it really be called a bakery if everything is just warmed up from frozen? Might as well go to a supermarket. Shame because a good bakery would do really well on Bath road. Also why not open on a Sunday?

I only ordered a steak and Stilton pasty - pretty standard
Three times i had to go back as the pasty they gave me was wrong, the staff were really nice and on the fourth attempt they even gave me a donut BUT on getting home to eat the pasty (3 mins away) it was stone cold and possibly the worst steak & stilton pasty I've had.
It not only had no taste and definitely didn't have any stilton but did have some nice crunchy bone for added texture.

Poor service and they never have anything available to Deliveroo. I've contacted parsons for comment as I think it's the staff not allowing orders to be put through. Hopefully have new management soon. Janes pantrey down the road, staff not rude and much more selection.
