It's a proper bakery that does lots of cakes and their Eccles cakes are lovely!

Cakes are lovely, but the staff are very rude, been here quite a few times, and been made to feel we weren't wanted in the shop, when ordering the lady was snatching the bags and the boxes, made me feel like I'd done something wrong, I asked her what the problem was and she just smiled at me, I won't be gone back even again 😕 hi this was yesterday morning and we spent around £8 but this is the second time this has happened, so I wasn't very happy, the lady had brown hair,

An essential stop when we visit Fleetwood. An amazing bakery and they make all the old fashioned cream cakes that I used to eat as a child - in fact I have just eaten half a trifle and a cream horn - the cream horns are truly excellent as the cream goes all the way down to the pointed end and the horn itself is coated in large crispy sugar crystals. Trifle was nice but very sweet. Possibly an éclair or cream doughnut instead next time 😉
Freindly and efficient staff who usually make me smile.
The sandwiches are good too and we will be going back tomorrow for some to eat at Rossall point.

It must be frustrating for the owner who is baking at un godly hours making great breads to have staff that can't be bothered to sell the products.
It's a strange feeling to walk in a bakers and be greeted as an inconvenience by the workers. Surely you could get better staff and if they are family members I'd be telling them to sort thier behaviour out and stop damaging my business.

Trifle is very tasty, which makes me miss my hometown Shanghai Ruby small cream cake.😌

Bought 2 pre cooked cold steak pies to reheat for tea..... thought it might be dry,,,,,
When reheated the steak pie was lovely, The short pastry complemented the very tender beef in rich gravy.
Would highly recommend this local bakery.
