I was looking for some local bakery stores around my neighbourhood area. I went a bit further from Stratford cross Victoria Park and came to this cafe. It has lots of homemade bread. I didn’t really read any reviews and went for what I saw in the shop. The sausage roll seemed to be freshly baked as I could see it was displayed from the tray. I ordered that and the cinnamon roll which looks really beautiful. I was very impressed with the sausage roll. I just realise people were commenting how good the sausage roll and they are brilliant!! It was warm and meat was so juicy with crispy pastry. The cinnamon roll was divine! This is an absolutely a brilliant cafe for takeaway and if you want some fresh bakery. I will definitely come back in the future!

We found this place while checking out nearby cafes after a stroll in Victoria Park. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. Especially the egg souffle sandwich was out of the world. The coffee served could have been a bit more hot, though. It, however, had the perfect flavor.

All of the staff are very pretty and well presented. Coffee is full flavoured and strong. The pastries are light and well-timed in the oven. The signature sausage roll is good enough to silence the most judgemental of mother-in-laws.

Wow, I rarely write reviews but this Gail’s in the heart of Victoria Park Village is wonderful. The staff are warm and helpful. The mince pies… they could well be the best in the country.

Worth a stop, say hello to the staff and enjoy!

Black guy with the ponytail is super attentive and warm. As are pretty much all the staff there. Get there early for the good bread. Spinach roll, cheese scone, apricot and walnut bread are always good. Not much seating when it's cold. But lovely spot.

One of the only coffee chain in London with good coffee. Service is always good, friendly and caring.
Their pastries are fresh, delicious and good quality.
Enjoy 😊

Quite busy but not ridiculously as expected on New Years Day, but half way through ordering and when about to pay the barista shouted out ‘no more coffee’ with no reason. Everyone seemed bemused as she seemed totally overwhelmed. The bakery wasn’t packed and no justification was given for no coffee orders at such short notice. Good mince pies though.

Ordered on just eat and was delivered the wrong items, tried to call and speak to someone but the phone was simply not being answered. If I pay £7.50 for a smoked salmon bagel I expect one, not a salmon finger for £7.50. Absolutely poor
