They do great work with the tiny space they have. Shop always look well stocked, clean and inviting.
Good, quick service and quality coffee and food, almost justifying the nearly extortionate prices 😅
Keep up the good work.

I only tasted the scones in this bakery and they were good.
The one with raisins was very good, the plain one was a little bit on the dense side, and the cheddar and chives was ok but too buttery for me.
Very good staff and fast service in the morning:)

Cute bakery in Soho with great scones! I got the plain one with strawberry jam for 2,30 pounds. Good size and very yummy! Wasn’t crowded in a Sunday early morning. Seating spaces inside and a couple of tables outside.

One of the best coffee shops we visited in years. Will come back to London just to visit this coffee shop! Friendly stuff, fresh and delicious pastries. Coffees and chai out of this world.

It's hard to capture in words my obsession with Gail's scones but I'll try! I have a sweet tooth beyond belief and, coming from San Francisco, there's just nothing like a British scone and Gail's does them best. I came to London for the first time three years ago and got so hooked that on this first trip back I planned to grab one nearly every day of our four-day trip. Well, our trip unintentionally got extended to 11-days and included a move to the suburbs and I've STILL been commuting into the city to grab more scones!

That's all fun and wonderful but what really makes it special is that the staff appreciated our enjoyment and got to know us. I'd call in the mornings to have some scones saved and Dee (spelling?) got to recognize my requests and made me feel so welcome, recognizing my voice and greeting me by name. During a sort of stressful time of limbo delay in a foreign country, it's the closest that we got to feeling "at home" and it saved my sanity (and my sweet tooth). We are Gail's superfans FOR LIFE.

Fantastic bakery and breakfast spot!!! We travel a lot and I usually make a rule to not go back to the same place twice so that we can try multiple places. We went to Gail's twice on our short trip and I have no regrets. I was impressed by everything I tried. The almond croissants were phenomenal and the small little honey cakes were our favorite. If you prefer savory, the slider was packed full of flavor! Honestly, there wasn't an item, that our family didn't rave over. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. All-around great spot to grab breakfast and coffee.

It was not really the most pleasant location to have breakfast. It was raining that day, so eating outside was not an option. The smell and cleanliness in the street also didn't give much desire to have breakfast outside. It was quite crowded and small inside, so you almost felt like you were sitting on top of each other. There was a lot of variety in food and it was delicious. In terms of service, it was smooth but I thought the staff could have looked a bit more cheerful. The tables were also left very dirty as were the toilets. I paid around 11 pounds for a croissant, cinnamon bun and fresh pressed juice. As I said, the food there was not bad, but I would rather go to another bakery where the price is the same but with a better location, cleanliness and freshness of the food. Good to test once, but I would not go back there. Possibly recommended for take-away though.

Small hidden gem. Yummy pastries and good coffee. Small seating area just to finish your food & leave. Barista and cashier extremely friendly. Only downside is that they don’t take cash
