Village Bakers

A lovely little bakery with a good selection of fresh bread, cakes, and very tasty sausage rolls. They also make their own filled sandwiches and rolls, very convenient for lunch. The people who work there are very friendly too. It is cash only, but there's a cash point across the road at Tesco, and also one in the newsagents next door.

I’ve just discovered this bakery and I’m so glad. Friendly staff & fast service. Great gingerbread men! I can also highly recommend the dinosaur chocolate shortbread which are iced in different colours. Will be back again!

Service and products beyond comparison. Love my weekly trip to Westmead Road … and their hot cross buns are delightful! Marcus and his team were a life saver during the pandemic. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Gave this place a try after noticing the queue out the door! Absolutely beautiful cakes and their bread is good too! I now have to go there every time I’m passing! Highly recommend!

Lovely bread and cakes from greenleaf clearance

Excellent quality and good range of bread loaves and made-to-order sandwiches. More limited range of cakes but very good quality. Friendly and cheerful. I get all my bread there, except what I periodically bake at home.

This bakery does a lovely range of rolls. My favourite being the ham salad with coleslaw. Nice range of cakes too. I always try to pop in when I can. The staff are nice and friendly too.
