The Cavan Bakery

Great artisan bakery that also serves fresh coffee and made to order sandwiches. The bakery has been going for over 90 years. It was forced to relocate it's ovens a few years ago and took the opportunity to expand the number of outlets. The outlet by the Star on Hampton Hill is the original shop. It's a bit quirky and that is its charm. The staff are friendly. You get the best choice of products early in the day. Drop by sometime, get a bloomer, take it home, cut it into chunks and enjoy with a good cheddar. You'll soon understand why people support bakers like Cavan.

I uploaded an image of the two rolls we purchased.
Each one contained 1 small leaf of an iceberg lettuce, and a thin slice of a beefsteak tomato.
A fairly depressing representation of a salad I must admit.
However, I subsequently found the chicken mayo and granary roll very tasty, so I have updated it to 3 stars.

I have been to this place today and first of all they were not happy because I went in with buggy. And my 3 years old son touched the cookie then the lady on the till shouted at us not to touch it, she could have warned us nicely but she didn’t. The most ignorant and rude place I have been. I could 0 stars if I could. Please avoid this place if you are using buggy or have little kids.

Delicious traditional British bakery with the best hot chocolate I've had for ages

Picked up a breakfast coffee and roll this morning at the Cavan by Bushy Park, Hampton Hill. Perfect for a walk in the park. Delicious as always and served with a smile - always so warm and friendly here. Great start to my day.

All cavans are great. This one I'd a lot smaller than the other on the other side of the high street but same quality, lovely staff members, delicious food and plenty of variety of cakes, cookies, sandwiches and breads. Support local. Love cavan!

Had a lovely take away tea, which is now becoming a rare thing in London.
I also had a cinnamon twirl, a little dry but very tasty.
Great service, reasonably priced.
