A seriously nice food shop best curry goat around the patties are perfectly made too. Lunch meal deal is good for £6 drink and a pattie or a large is also good but not included as a meal deal plantain are nice and chunky big portion for £1 plenty of choice in this shop 10x better than nice n spice across the road my only problem is I can only go here when I'm working in the area other than that no more to be said good eating 😀

Such a shame I have to give this restaurant 3 stars because the food has always been tasty. However, today I purchased a small oxtail with rice and peas and was very disappointed. The portion was small with a lot of bones in the container and very little oxtail meat. For the price of £7 I expect to have at least some meat in the container to enjoy my meal.

This is not the first time I’ve had very small portions from this shop. Would love to continue to support, so please give your customers portion sizes they pay for.

Food is great, but sometimes portions are really small and prices are different for the same things, depending on who serves you. Last time I was charged £14.50 for a medium fried fish and rice and peas, some callaloo on the side and two patties.

One of the best Caribbean bakery to date.
Very authentic Caribbean food like back home. If you know you know 😏🤌🏾
Excellent customer service. They look after myself and my fellow Ambulance crew mates.🤍

THE BEST!!!!

I’ve been going here for years and their standards never drop. The place always looks clean (a biggie for me) and the couple who run it are so lovely and inviting. They take the time to know their regular customers. Today was red pea soup day (Wednesday!) and the wife knew what I had come in for 😊

I can’t recommend this place enough. Their dumplings are perfection, their fried chicken my gosh! Amazing…. All the meals I’ve had have NEVER disappointed me. Like I said their standards have never dropped over all the years.

My grandma lives in Yorkshire and I brought her Hardough bread from here once. Now this is the only place she lets me buy it from when I visit her.

Taste and see their food is good!

The fried dumplings and soups are not just some of the best cheap eats in the area, but some of the best food in general. I think about it constantly and recommend this place to anyone that will listen.

My only issue is their opening times are a bit all over the place sometimes, but the food is so good that I can't take a star away. 5 stars all day!
