GAIL's Bakery Chelsea

The Smoked Salmon Bagel was pretty good, but they don’t toast your sandwiches or pastries here which was a bit of a bummer. The Honey Cake paired perfectly with a latte, and there’s a variety of pastries and other snacks to choose from.

Service was actually decent today for this shop. However I’m glad I had my food and drink before using the toilet, there was no hand soap and the toilet seat was disgusting.

I travel around london on a daily basis and go into almost every Gail’s. Nothing comes close to this one.. the staff are so friendly and bubbly.

The food is also delicious .. especially the croissants. I’ve been to some Gail’s like the St Albans one and they don’t use enough butter on the croissant.. it really is the simple things that make a huge difference.

My favourite Gail’s/coffee shop in London for sure. As soon as I wake up I crave their coffee.

The two ladies handling the main counter have no interest in being there, they just stare at their iPads, following the basic procedural steps, zero thinking out of the box and no attempt at engaging with any customers. The gent operating the hot drinks machine is the only team member with any energy and drive. I’d recommend checking out many of the other cafes in the spot, this isn’t representative of other GAIL’s bakeries.

Made to wait at an empty counter while being deliberately ignored. Then told I had to walk to the other end of the room to order from a colleague and then come back to where I started to collect my coffee!
Seriously, I hate places like this. Never again.

Very disappointed with the beyond rude customer service experience. We arrived a half hour before closing and staff members were aware we were having a coffee inside, after we received order there was no space to sit and both barista and another team member came over harassing us to leave before the place was closed, berated us over respecting timing etc. specifically the barista came by multiple times telling us it was disrespectful to sit inside. I’m a frequent customer and will never return after today

O M G! I looooove Gails Fulham road. Nice hectic service, staff are super efficient. Had an nice experience there this morning. I sincerely think they have the best croissant in town. Such a nice place to sit and have breakfast. The coffee isn’t as good as other places locally though. Im a regular at Gails kings road and now ill be a regular on the one on Fulham road. Its my new favourite.

Chocolate Babka I purchased today was at least 70% smaller than it used to be. Despite the increase in price from £10 last year to £14 now, I expect the size and quality to remain consistent. While Gail's Bakery may still be a good option compared to other bakeries, it seems to have declined in quality compared to its previous standards.
