Martha Rosie Bakes

Martha is a great baker, she makes the most delicious cakes, cupcakes and bread. I have tried them all and would recommend Martha without reservation. Totally delicious!

Martha made a wonderful cake for my wife's birthday. I couldn't find anyone else in Cambridge who would make a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting, her favorite. Martha was very accommodating and worked closely with me to create a fantastic cake. She took pictures of our two cats and made beautifully detailed decoration figures/toppings of them. The cake itself was delicious and I would highly recommend her baking to anyone in need of a lovely celebration.

Among the best cakes I've ever had. After much indecision, I went for the frosted sticky toffee cake for a friend's birthday. I'm sure her other creations are just as excellent, but this -- coming from a cake-obsessed American -- was a standout dessert that will linger in my mind.

The cake layers were a play on the classic sticky toffee pudding -- but with a welcome, spongy lightness to cut the deep notes of dark caramel and molasses. The flavor was warm, almost nutty, and just slightly spiced, and the texture was fork tender and moist -- without the over-indulgent stickiness or heavy density that sticky toffee sometimes creates. The vanilla buttercream was such a welcome addition, its fatty creaminess providing the perfect textural foil to the sponge and an ideal flavor contrast to the toffee's warm richness.

Everyone in our group went back for seconds and thirds. My only sadness is that I had to leave half the cake behind for the birthday boy!

She truly cares about her creations, and ensuring her customers have the best treats possible for their special days.

Martha made us 120 cupcakes for our wedding including gluten free and vegan options and all our guests said how beautiful and delicious they were. We had a huge selection and they were perfect and to top it off Martha is so lovely! For a birthday celebration a few years back we were lucky enough to have her brownies, so tasty and we’ll be back again for sure. Highly recommend Martha Rosie Bakes for any celebration! Thank you!!

Martha made us the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake! Great communication, friendly, responsive and patient with changing requests of what we wanted. Martha made us a two-tiered cake of incredibly moist & flavoursome carrot cake on the bottom and blueberry and vanilla on the top, decorated with naked cream-cheese icing and edible flowers from her allotment. It really was stunning and everybody commented on it and how incredibly tasty it was! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I ordered 160 cupcakes and one large 4 tiered wedding cake (see photo) from Martha for a Winter Ball. The cake was subtly champagne flavoured and beautifully decorated in pink frosting with homemade macarons and to match our Versailles theme. It was delicious. The cupcakes were also beautiful. Martha was super responsive to emails throughout, made some of the cupcakes gluten free and vegan and even hand delivered them.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for cakes for a large event!

Martha made a fantastic gluten free cake at short notice for a birthday party. Lemon drizzle and poppy seeds. Absolutely delicious and really well received, fully recommend!
