Staff was super friendly and service was great! We loved the relaxing vibe inside. It is a bakery before 12 and both a restaurant and bakery after 12. Not sure if the fact that it was a Sunday, but most of their bakes are already gone by 12! Their menu changes everyday so you will always be surprised! They use flour within 18 hours of milling which helps retaining nutrients of the bakes. We ordered focaccia and it was FRESH - soft, warm, chewy, lightly seasoned with seasalt. Would also recommend the mutton chops which were perfectly cooked and almonds were slight toasted served with the sweet and sour mint sauce! You can also order coffee/tea to go! Such a sweet move. Will come back again!

Easily one of the top restaurant experiences I’ve had in London. The atmosphere is down to earth, the orange wine recommendation was fruity and fresh, the food was incredible, and the staff were kind. Will be returning, often.

We had coffee and pastries here coffee was good and their pastries where delicious one of the best I’ve had in London, fluffy light and not greasy at all. We had some cakes , cookies and bread for takeaway, cakes were really delicious, bread and cookies were average.
The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because of the customer service. As I witnessed staff were very friendly and nice with other customers that wasn’t same for us maybe we don’t meet their criteria 🤔 and maybe that’s why they weren’t interested at all. When we tried to pick up few things for takeaway we were rushed which I really didn’t like specially for the food prices I expected better service. If it was for food only I will give it five stars. The lunch menu looks tempting but as the customer service was poor I don’t think I will go back to try it.

Love the coffee and food here. The pastries are sublime and imperfectly perfect. The coffee smooth. I particularly enjoy the fact that they have a seasonal menu and experiment with food combinations. This is right on the green and has outdoor seating. Bit pricey so not a daily staple but amazing nonetheless

Loved the vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant! For lunch I got the pear & Gorgonzola salad which I didn’t expect to love but it was so good! The pairing of the pears, cheese, & sauce was heavenly. For my main I got the tagliatelle with pork and it was very tasty and not very filling, which I liked. The menu changes everyday so I’d love to come back and try their dinner menu.

I was on the way to see my beautician and decided to stop off for a bite to eat at Jolene. I loved the food, it was delicious. I had a ginger cake with frosting on top, a coffee and a vegetarian roll with cheese, lettuce and pickled onions. I loved every mouthful! I sat outside on a bench and people watched. UPDATE: I returned to check out the restaurant and the food is fabulous. We ate outside and shared a selection of small plates and my partner had a fish dish. The food is excellent, loved every mouthful!!! It was so good that I wrote a feature for my London Lifestyle Blog!

One of my new favourite places. A friend and I wandered over here to taste their pastries. I’d heard many good things and wanted to try. When we got their, due to the cold, we got a table to sit with our pastries but also decided to order a few appetisers. As for pastries, we got sausage rolls and a chocolate croissant. My god, both were beautiful. I will be getting that again definitely. Anyway we were sat at the bar, and if I had a choice I would ALWAYS sit by the bar. We were greeted by such lovely staff, and despite one of the staff being super busy making drinks and focaccia orders, he was so friendly and willing to listen and answer my endless questions. He even tried helping us find a wine that suited our tastes. We ended up with a Bordeaux but I know they change their wine lists regularly. For food we got an endive salad with Roquefort and walnuts, focaccia and a chickpea dish that was more like a fried polenta chip but made of chickpeas. ALL so nice. Although they change the menu daily, based on those dishes I know anything would be great. It’s a shame we weren’t able to get some pastas in, as we saw the dishes and they looked soooooo lovely. I’ll have to go again definitely. Anyone not in East London, I really recommend making the trip wherever you are.

The focaccia bread was some of the best I’ve had, along with a superb ragu pasta and mozzarella dish. Would certainly come again for their dinner menu. Staff really went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

I would warn this is more of a wine bar than it is a brunch venue per se. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu as well.
