Shadi Bakery

So good! There was an Iraqi naan bread shop very similar to this near my work in London Bridge. Sadly it closed. I found Shadi Bakery 9 months ago and wow, it's great! The Zatar naan is so good, especially when freshly cooked and still piping hot. The chilli naan is amazing too, the ones I got today actually had a nice level of chilli heat. Mmmmm. These naans aren't quite as thick as from Indian and Bangladesh restaurants which is how middle Eastern naans have been in my experience. I prefer this as it means it can accompany curries whilst being a bit less stodgy. I make a 25 minute drive here from staines. It's worth the journey! Lovely guys that work here too.

Burnt out of shape naan, when you complain, they say leave it ,cancel order. Very rude service. avoid

Best naan! Try the keema naan with salad and chilli. So simple and cheap, but the lightest fluffiest perfectly cooked naan
