Greggs

Tried their vegetable bake, dough nut and coffee, it was good. It is not halal. Their vegetable bake is pretty good and tasty!

Normally greggs never fail me with the choice of sandwich and the efficient crew to minimise waiting but the latest visit saw that there are only 6 or 7 sandwich left and both crew we talking and entertaining I lady customer and left a long queue of guest wanting to make payment. Surprisingly after 10 min they actually can or was running 2 checkout counter. It means they are ignoring the other customer while entertaing talking to the customer in front of ME. On purpose.(To avoid confusion this is gregg in Hunslow never happens to me in Uxbridge)

As a tourist I stopped in to see what all the fuss was online about the food here, a lot of folks recommended getting food/snacks here. They had a lot of the British snack fast foods. This particular location was small with limited seating.
I got some sausage rolls and a few steak bakes.
I also ordered coffees.
Unfortunately the person taking the order did not ask what type of coffee I wanted and made a cafe latte, not sure if that is now the ‘typical’ coffee in the UK, I usually get a standard black coffee if I just ask for a coffee. Also the food was all warm, not hot at all and this was at lunchtime which I found surprising.
Anyway my impression of this location was not good. Simple ordering and the temperature of the food are the most basic requirements of an establishment like this and this makes me feel this is not managed well.
The positive is despite the food being cold it did taste good.
I would not come back to this particular Greggs.
I may try another location, funnily enough there is another larger one just down the high street about a third of a mile which I saw later that day.

Great friendly staff and good products
Manager wise and why I only give a star. I would offer zero to be honest. The rudest female manager I have ever encountered, they have a receipt printer issue and I was shout out and talked down as a customer of theirs for only asking the printed or written receipt.
I work for a close by shop and we buy daily sandwiches from them...
Today was a second episode the manager blaming me cause they can't give printed receipts.
The franchise owner should offer 'her' the shift manager some anger management classes or just mental health wise some days off.
The rudeness she addressed me is unacceptable.

Delicious food, reasonable prices/meal deals and excellent customer service.

Love their breads and muffins

The best place to relax with a cup of coffee n cake. A nice place on the high street in Hounslow. Greggs is a chain of bakeries selling a range of freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes. They also sell a selection of sandwiches and drinks. These days they do close the sitting area by 6 pm.

Tried the festive bake which holds better than the steak bake.. Good for a quick takeaway as the sit in spots can get crowded..
