I can't believe I'm writing this... I ordered one single espresso and a soya flatwhite with a croissant paid over £9 only to find out that they didn't have any SUGAR. Moreover the dude behind the machine stared at me like it was normal and didn't want to give me any refunds not even an apology. He has an horrible attitude, very arrogant towards me and hus colleagues. Zero customer service, zero experience totally disrespectful... a bakery without SUGAR refusing to give you a refund??? DO NOT GO THERE.

Poor customer service, I've been told there's no sugar for the coffee afterwards I purchased my 2 coffees
The nice blonde girl behind the counter was very apologetic while the the aggressive barista was shouting and mounig at me that make me feel miserable I went to have a nice coffee and I've been harassed and abused.
Outrageous.

The barista (his name was Matt) was so helpful and welcoming when I visited Gail’s last week. Amazing service will definitely be back. His latte was exquisite. Keep up the great customer service!

I absolutely love this Gails! The service is always so fast and the staff are so kind. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to grab a quick bite. Also the modern design of the place is top notch !

£4 you pay for a coffee and look like this with awful taste shame people don't realise how bad this coffee is and there is a long queue for it

They should train their staff to move quick and be attentive to customers. I can be considerate if they’re short staff but most of the times 2-3 staff are in front with customers

Great coffee shop and place to recover from a Royal Free visit.
Shame the George Orwell plaque seems to have been removed though. Orwell worked in the bookshop previously on this site.
