The food was great but the service was horrible. The waitress lied to me about wifi. Ive no idea why i asked her nicely. When i asked, she said “the wifi isnt working”, i came w my friend who’s been there before (so his wifi autoconnect, super good speed). Found a random paper with wifi code on it and i connect it, works just fine. Secondly, i ordered scones, waited so long so i asked, she said “we gave it to someone else” without even saying sorry. I was pissed then only later they send me my scones with apologies. I was too annoyed with what happened.

Beetroot cake was absolutely delicious and very quirky. Rest of the stuff we had (Hummus wrap, mushroom tart and sweet-potato+kale roll) were good. My iced americano was beautiful. Staff was lovely.
The location of the cafe is nice too. You can just pack your food and eat it at Parliament hill.

Lacking serious coffee making skills. I ordered an iced mocha and received a cup of toilet water with a dash of coffee. Even by looking at it, I could tell it was not an iced mocha and after tasting it, my judgement was confirmed. I kindly reminded the staff that I ordered an iced mocha and that what I received neither looked nor tasted like one. The white man had the audacity to look at my equally as white drink and claimed it WAS an iced mocha (no chocolate had entered my cup, I was sure). After feeling shamed and the man gaslighting me, I no longer had the confidence to ask again. I paid FOUR POUNDS for absolute garbage and a horrible start to my day. Do not go here!!

Rude staff. I live nearby and went there a few times. EVERY SINGLE TIME THE STAFF WAS ACTING LIKE THEY WANTED TO KILL ME. I am not kidding. And I have always been soo kind to them. Also overpriced for the quality of products and nearby cafes.

Great choice of tasty food. Good for vegetarians. I had a halloumi, avocado and harissa bagel and a green smoothie. Just what was needed after a swim in the Hampstead Heath Ponds!

This morning I was gobsmacked when they insisted a stale croissant was fresh. Also rudely dismissed while I was trying to get my head around if I wanted something else instead. Bad vibes. Stay away.

Not the best cafe I have been too, but did what I needed it to do. Coffee was hot and pastry was feeling of a little damp

It had been a year, time to try again. “A flat white and a fresh croissant, please.” Bit Monty Python, but let’s flag the issue from the start. Coffee arrives; not bad, but standards and prices are high in this area. 3-star, say. A bite of the croissant and I’m back at the counter. “This isn’t fresh. I bake these myself. They have short shelf lives. This hasn’t been in an oven in the last 12 hours.” “It was delivered this morning.” “And baked when.” A shrug. “I don’t know who supplies it.” He offered me a replacement or a refund.

So nothing changes. Stale pastries at over £3 each from a ‘bakery’ that doesn’t know where or when they were baked. Avoid.
