Vegan Sweet Tooth

bought 3 cakes from the vegan market in St Albans today, and we were very disappointed.

they looked amazing but all 3 of them were very very dry and didn’t taste of chocolate. they lacked moisture and were so crumbly and stale , wouldn’t recommend

Visited at Surrey Street vegan market this weekend and got a few desserts - they all looked amazing so struggled to pick. They were so dry and really not good. Extremely disappointing. (Tried vegan nutella brownie, pineapple upside down cake, almond frangipane. Last one wasn't as bad, but still would not recommend for the price).

Update: After leaving this review the business offered me a refund for the 2 dry cakes which I appreciated as good customer service.

I absolutely love Giancarlo and his beautiful , amazing organic cakes. He puts so much love and effort into everything he does and you can really taste it. It's great to support small businesses instead of the corporate giants. All of his produce is very fresh , tasty and delicious. I would highly recommend them. Please do order and enjoy!!

I tried their lemon meringue and a tart at vegfest. Both tasted like dairy based cakes that I was used to, but that I chose not to eat dairy now. I hope to eat their cakes again. They’re cruelty free and sustainable so I am all for them.

Today, I've had my first cake from VST and I absolutely loved it. They even accommodated and arranged a last minute request (some candles on the cake).
I will definitely buy my cakes from you, guys

Took the plunge as the birthday cakes on the web site looked beautiful, wasn't disappointed when we picked up the birthday cake. Giancarlo added in the words and I'm not vegan but can certainly say it's not a cake you notice anything different. We also had a cheeky pizza, rice and lasgne to go and boy they really hit the spot . Please don't look at the prices as being high as the quality suppassed the value. The wife was happy on her birthday and I'm looking at experiencing the next cakes as not only are they tasty but they really do look beautiful. Great first impression and wouldn't hesitate to recommend for vegans and anyone wanting quality and value for the belly. Thanks giancarlo

Incredible cake! I chose the raspberry chocolate cake and my partner is lactose intolerant. IT TASTES SO GOOD! It also doesn´t make me feel too heavy and it isn´t too sweet. Absolutely incredible and they delivered on time. The cake was beautiful and I can´t thank them enough for being so great on my partner´s special day! Will absolutely be back again!!!!!
