Rare "must visit" category - fabulous unique bakery - located immediately across from Maida Vale Underground station.

Everything was amazing & super fresh:
croissant, flourless choc cake (Gluten-Free), and blueberry custard brioche - will be back to try more selections!

Amazing staff! So warm and welcoming! Food and coffee are top notch! Like my favourite place to grab a quality coffee and a bite to eat! Their salads are super good also! Especially the Lentil one!

First time here. coffee not bad but staff needs more training. Dirty plates and rubbish left on the table and not cleared. Staff were chatting and uninterested. Had to go up and ask for table to be cleared.

Quick wipe and still have bread crumbs left on the table.

You have to go up and bring your own coffee to your table

It’s really nice to see familiar faces, when there’s always someone new each time you’re visiting the shop. Today we were served by Martyna and Catarina who are always kind and smiling, even almost before closing hours. As always great coffee with beautiful latte art and perfect food recommendation.
Will be back, so please get the boxes ready.

I only write reviews if the place is worth it. This is the best Gail’s in London. Everything is always fresh and the staff are the most amazing team ever!!! They are super fast and so friendly, there isn’t one staff member that’s not amazing! Thank you Gail’s 🤗

Ways a great coffee at Gail's! Delicious pastries on offer plus savory snacks soup, grain salads and bottled juices. A little more pricey than your bog standard high street chain but, in my opinion, worth it.

Really like the pastries, and savoury food items here - very good quality. Not a third-wave coffee shop though : Gail's needs to up their coffee game, as they have fallen behind. Not so keen on the heavy and hard sourdough breads, apart from the mixed-olive which is superb; but, each to their own.
Staff could be a bit happier. Anyway, in summary, a nice corner cafe and a quieter Gail's, with a pleasant ambience. Seating is limited. Queen's Park and Paddington have a space advantage, but are far busier. Come on Gail's, sort the coffee out!

I love Gail’s but really dumping bags of lovely bread on the street on Christmas Eve instead of giving to homeless charity is not good. So many people could have enjoyed this bread.
