Traditional bakery staying alive while supermarkets continue to cause individual business' to close.
Nathan and his wife are nice to have a chat with before enjoying their delicious baked goods. The vibe you won't get in many food places now

Decent quality food, albeit on the (very) pricey side.

(Sausage rolls seems to have taken a huge dip in quality too...massive...but I digress...)

Service however can vary. Usually very good to great, at times, awful.

Popped in today (3rd July 2021) for some tasty savouries. The two individuals behind the counter were having a chat. Fair enough, I stood there, waiting, wishing to be polite and not wanting to interrupt them, but also hopeful that they would pause their chat and serve a customer.

Alas...no...

The chat continues, first right behind the counter (while I'm eyeing up the tasty goodness I planned on buying) then both indviduals walk off to the side / back area to continue it further!!!

Finally, one emerges and asks what I would like.

At this point, what I wanted to say was 'Oh, convenient is it? I'd hate to be a nuisance for you.', or some other quip about customer service. Instead, I just sort of mumbled 'sorry, actually there's nothing I want, sorry' and left.

This isn't the first time I have found the service to be lacking, albeit never to this extent.

It is, however, the last time I will ever experience such service from there, as I will never return, and will encourage those I know to do the same.
