The second time I've been here and l always visit when I'm having a bad day and feeling like I need some TLC as the food is spot on, beautiful place and served by Angelo who is very helpful! I'm always looking for places like this, so healthy just tasty brunch/lunch-ish with coffee and I found a great place. You can't go wrong, just he ready to explore as there a lovely handful to pick from.

Angelo is awesome, I didn't have a clue what to eat and he's always great his pick is tailored from your favourites. Here there is too much healthy stuff to pick from and really fills you up, don't let the size deceive you. You may say but all places have, helpful staff, nope not most times with food and it doesn't come from the heart, Angelo treats you like you are coming into his home, friendly, professional, I didn't even have to ask for water cutlery he didn't forget and came to drop it off before I had even noticed, that's great hosting/serving... He made Gail's look great a place I'd want to visit again during a long week.

I'd diffinately come back as they have great bites and no fuss, great service and locations! I need to try the desserts next 😉

The girl serving people should avoid wearing a jumper with baggy arms which trailed through all the food as she picked out the two quiches we wanted. She was more interested in looking cool than serving us. And being on her phone when tables need cleaning etc. We like the Gail’s chain but wouldn’t bother returning to this one.

Really enjoyed breakfast here, everything tasted fresh and amazing! Only comment I would make was that there seemed to be porridge being served to people, but it was absolutely nowhere to be seen on the menu - when I asked 'how do I get that'? I was told that I had to ask for it.... work that one out 🤔 Too late, I'd already placed my order - but, all in all, very very good 👌🏻

Visited today for lunch with my cousin and it was...fine. Extremely overpriced for what we got. Sausage rolls were cold and when my cousin asked for it to be heated up, she was told that they did not have a microwave and do not heat things up. Not great. Staff surly and superior. I will not be returning.

We stayed at the Autograph hotel next to Gail’s.m for 4 nights. We spent each of our mornings enjoying flat whites, tea, and croissants each morning. Nothing but great service and fantastic drinks and food. Not sure how others rate GAILS so moderately. When in the area this is a nice oasis for cafe fare.

The pastries were really good. Had the cheese straws, spinach & feta roll and a mini salami & cornichon bun. They didn’t have time to be photographed as they were devoured in a flash. Staff were friendly to explain their baked goods and there is an option for cheese straws with some baked slightly longer for those who like the extra crunch. Washed everything down with a naturally sweet bottle of OJ. Good little carbolicious meal.

A good little cafe and bakery for breakfast, coffee, pastries and other nice things. I was not too hungry so had the mini Smoked salmon roll - and it was really nice. Good coffee as well.

£8.40 for a cold spinach&feta roll and a flat white in a paper cup sounds to me like armed robbery, especially considering there is no table service and the only spot available was grubby and full of the previous customers’ used crockery. In my mind Gail’s was a place to get a special treat every once in a while, but I probably would have been more satisfied if I’d gone to Greggs.
