Food here was a real treat to cheer me and wife up whilst staying at the hospital. Excellent value for money with a home made feel. Highlights include:
Best breakfast sandwich you can get.
Best bread pudding I've had.
Banquettes aren't too crunchy, let's be real, everyone hates a crunchy baguette.
11/10 would recommend

Parsons is a my local coffee shop, and the service is consistently so poor I (a money scrimping student) will sooner pay twice the money at a chain coffee shop than ever step foot in here again. Their blasé attitude to allergies is shocking and I cannot remember a single time in the past 10 visits where at least one part of the order hasn’t been incorrect. My 96 year old great gran and an ancient nespresso machine were a slicker duo. Save yourself the will-to-live and go next door.

The cashier girl offered me a ‘free’ cookie since she wanted to clear up all the cookies/cakes before closing down and ended up giving me a completely burnt cookie which was not edible at all( the other cookies/cakes were perfectly baked). A couple other customers came in and she offered them free cookies/cakes too but they were all perfectly fine and edible unlike what she offered me. Why the different treatment? It doesn't cost anyone anything to be honest and kind.

Asked for a flat white but got what resembled dishwater! Their coffee ☕ was always fine and good value for money but they have definitely gone down hill since I was last here the price has gone up by 50p but the coffee sadly didn't match it and they definitely need more staff I waited for nearly 10 minutes but the poor girl that was serving was on her own I felt sorry for her probably why the coffee ☕ was awful as she had a queue. Needless to say I got my money back won't bother coming again

Really not great. I've recently started working in Bristol and have been trying to find a regular lunch spot. I've tried Parsons twice now and it's been pretty awful both times. The baguette I had today was rank to be honest. Also tried a caramel shortbread and can honestly say the ones you get as part of the meal deal at Tesco/Co-op are 10x better... which just shouldn't be the case when going somewhere claiming to be a family run bakery. I won't be going back now.

Service has gone downhill a bit over the past year.

Ordered two black americanos and a two pasty's today.
Pastys were cold. The black americanos came with milk...

The staff were too busy moaning out loud amongst themselves about a surly customer who left without ordering to get my order right. He asked if they could put a bacon sandwich on for him and they wouldn't. Apparently, although they had bacon they had sold their quota for the day so couldn't sell him one....

Barely any attempt from the staff to hand me my coffee. Barely any acknowledgment of thanks.

Really disappointed. Chicken and mixed leaf baguette barely had any filling and didn't taste very good. I got a doughnut which was ok but not great (it can't be that hard to make a good doughnut??). Coffee was not great either. It was cheap, and I wish I could say that meant it was good value, but I'm still hungry so that would be a stretch

What a fantastic bakery! Wanted a little treat before leaving my job so popped in for a hot choc, sausage sarnie and a doughnut (meal deal £3.75). It was absolutely gorgeous food. I was served swiftly by the friendly and helpful staff and, as you can see, the price was very reasonable too. I definitely recommend this place ❤
