Just been in to get some cheese straws, 2 members of staff, both at the panini machine, standing holding it down, waited 10 minutes patiently only to be told they had run out, not impressed with the customer service, just moved here but the cafe in the park has a better more welcoming staff and is only a 30 second walk away.

Offended by the attitude, the fact that they were casting glances which says to me the two girls were aware, when I left the bakery, the queue was out of the door onto the pavement. Not impressed at all.

Not good customer service, which is a shame as I am - regular customer. As per other reviews here, there seems to be some selective process on who to serve. I historically left unwelcome - it feels like we are wasting the staff’s time, or that they hate their jobs or something - but this attitude has lately reached new extremes with the Covid-19 restrictions. I am only holding some hope on younger staff, which I have noticed are around in the late afternoon. Those more ‘experienced’ members make one feel a burden to their lives. Unfortunate, I used to visit every day - but why would they care?

I'd say fairly overpriced for the quality - likely a "coffee" ingredients is 30p and looks like dirty water with milky foam on top
but does the job and there is nothing else better in the whole of UK maybe in terms of quality and consistency, so good enough but maybe there is better somewhere

As always very nice food, great taste and flavour. Just a bit of a queue to get food.

I cant resist their fresh jam doughnuts, and my son loves the chocolate cake. Dangerously delicious
