First time here toady so treated my husband to a Vanilla Slice, they were taken from behind the counter so I wasn't able to choose and didn't get a choice to view them, unfortunately when I got home with them the pastry is burnt, not only does it look burnt but tastes really burnt, so disappointed as we were really looking forward to them 😔 the assistant wasn't the friendliest however she was on her own so maybe a bit stressed ? My daughter had a sausage roll which she enjoyed. Won't be going here again.

Three generations of my family go here. Best steak pie I have ever had, I genuinely could not fault it.

Never written a review about anywhere before but thought I should, I’ve been working on Lord street and getting my dinner from the scotch bakery for the past couple of months brilliant staff and I’ve had some lovely sandwiches, cakes and pies there probably the best bakery I’ve ever been to! Will be gutted when our work is finished in the area. P.s can you open one in Liverpool

Will not return. My sandwich was made with bare hands, which would have been acceptable… however the lady preparing my food had just handled cash from the previous customer and then continued to make my order, picking up the ingredients tomatoes etc with unwashed hands.
This establishment needs to have a regimen in place where staff who collect cash with bare hands do not prepare food.
I should have told them to ‘Keep’ their sandwich…. I however just threw it in the bin. I’m sure it would have been very tasty, but hygene in my opinion is paramount.

What a cracker! Note queue. Service impeccable and products magic. Potatoes and meat pie, ham bap bread....all excellent. No wonder opens 6 am, like French bakeries, and shuts at 3pm. Sorry for mention of Macron and his mob who seem to hate us and send anybody across La Manche. What comes around goes around hopefully! Wetherspoons near.

This is a lovely cafe, nice food and reasonably price as well. I'm definitely going again if I am in the area. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Staff are amazing also.

Got a meat and potato pie that only had one piece of meat in it, but if I rate it as a potato pie it was nice tasty potato pie. Oh and also there was no menu board and no pricing which was slowing things down as we had to keep asking what they had and how much was it

Lovely bakery, excellent service with helpful sales people. I bought cakes for folks at work as I heard they loved their cakes, I haven't actually had any hence the 4 stars not 5
