The Bakery

They are ok, breakfast rolls are decent. Sweet bakery items aren't anything special, usually left disappointed to be honest. I can't comment about the fresh bread but they look good.

Had a terrible experience last year, I can’t get it out of my mind, that’s why I’m sharing. Went into the bakery for burgers with my children on a Sunday afternoon. We didn’t get a pleasant reception, which I put down to perhaps they were surprised a black person came into their store for the first time. On receiving the bag with the burgers, I noticed it had mustard stains all over and didn’t think much of it until we got home and realized the burgers were a big mess . My first thought was that perhaps they didn’t know how to make burgers and that was why the young ladies were behaving funny. We ended up not finishing the burgers and have never looked at that store twice.

Wonderful pub, visited while waiting for the bus to turn up! Had a Sour Latte, lots of cakes & breads etc on offer!!

Nearly £4 for a bacon sarnie and they only butter 1 slice of the bread! Plus the bacon was so dry and over cooked! Rip off

Asked for a bacon and sausage baguette got a sub roll. the bacon was really crispy
And the filling were cold
Won't be going back in a hurry

Usually love this place, but covid times turn people quite nasty apparently. They were extremely rude to myself and my husband for wearing masks. I'm quite clearly pregnant and trying to take extra precautions. Despite having a sign outside asking people to wear masks, none of the staff or other customers were wearing masks. Shocking service, really rude and slow.
