Lovely quality food and drink. Variation in prices means some items are more expensive but certain pastries and sweets can be bought in small bulks which balance prices. Drinks can be expensive but their own brand items are cheaper and I can highly recommend the strawberry water. Friendly staff and decent seating when available.

Greggs in Bury St Edmunds is by far the most excellent and favourable place to eat in town, situated in the centre of Bury, and is the place to go if you are looking for a quick and reasonably priced snack.

The food available in this Greggs ranges widely, from sweet iced buns to delectable savoury sausage rolls. If you are looking to buy a sandwich or baguette, you will not be disappointed, as fillings list from your regular choice of ham or cheese to chicken and mayonnaise, British BLT's and much more. Greggs also sell delicious pizza slices (which are generously sized) which have toppings of cheese or pepperoni, and are cooked fresh and do not drip in grease!

If you have a sweet tooth, donut worry as a wide variety of edibles are up for grabs. There are multiple choices of donuts, which all have different toppings and icing.

Actually I'll shut up,
just go to Greggs,
its really good,
and yummy.

Absolutely appalling customer service to members of staff chatting and laughing in the corner doing absolutely nothing rush-hour lunchtime one lady serving on the counter asked for separate occasions for one of them to help us serve whilst we were queueing all the way through and outside onto the street three times a day ignored the ladies help plea the fourth time she asked they then went out the back and didn’t even respond to her.
The lady who is less serving an Indian lady was struggling and stressed I assured her that she was doing a great job and said it’s shameful how they are ignoring her and not helping in rush-hour and standing to the sides laughing and joking like school children

I will never go in this place again just atrocious how the staff treated this poor lady

Friendly helpful staff. Got our first free coffee using the app. 😋 What I call 'cozy' food. Nice.

Five members of staff. One (lad) working stocking the near empty shelves while the others stood chatting and laughing. While there I saw a member of staff pick her nose and pick her ear. Another member of staff rubbed at her eyes. All without leaving the counter or washing hands. Another ‘server’ I saw sitting on the counter swinging her legs having a conversation. No hand washing after anything.
So, five members of staff, no more than two working, others hiding round the back or moving to the front door to chat when customers queued. Bearing in mind it’s a Saturday two weeks before Christmas, the mess on tables and the floor, empty shelves, and staff who appear to not give a toss about hygiene, service or stock, I’m really sad about what Greggs has become. Oh, and a ham and cheese baguette in the cheese salad baguette tray was a nasty surprise for this vegetarian.
