Bird's Bakery

Usually love birds but the service today really annoyed me. Went in with my two children and there was one other person waiting. After they had been served the shop filled up a bit and we were then ignored ! Countless times until I caught someones attention. Really annoying when the food is so good.

Birds is a wonderful bakery which sells not just wonderful bread and pastries but terrific pork pies - we love them . The staff are great, efficient and friendly and the quality is definitely worth the price you pay.

Cakes looked lovely but unfortunately the staff let it down so we left without getting a chance to try the food. The queue took ages and none of the staff acknowledged any customers coming through the door. We asked about the filled rolls meal deal as this was mentioned in a sign on display in the sandwich fridge but staff didn't seem to know what was going on and were really rude and dismissive when we asked a simple question. We were told it only included cobs yet the big sign didn't say that. It said 'filled rolls'. Don't have signs for things that you aren't selling, or at least be polite when asked about it.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
A great display of lovely looking cakes - sadly we didn't get time to any before we left.
We did have a very tasty breakfast and coffee. A good way to start the day.
Reasonably priced food and drink.
Will visit again if in Litchfield 😁👍

Stopped here for a quick brunch as a family. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great, cooked well and enjoyable. There are lots of cakes and I will have one next time we didn’t have time today.

I've never really liked pork pies but then I was given a Birds pork pie & they are fabulous. Always have to buy one when passing, cakes are fab as well.

Used during the lockdown!! Can’t speak highly enough of them fantastic pleasant staff! Food excellent & always went out the way for my little girl & boy. Thank you.
