The sandwiches here are unparalleled in every possible way. First I'll start with the bread, freshly baked, soft buns that I know came out of a bakery not one day ago. Buttered up so thick you'd think your grandmother made it, and stuffed so full of ingredients you may as well call it the cornucopia. I sit here writing this after finishing my 3rd Cheese and ham salad of this week, looking and and seeing so many vegetables that a city boy like me had to think to name them all! They're fresh too, crisp as the morning, and would not surprise me if they were bought from the fresh local produce store next door. The cheese is soft, and ham so fragrant, not the wafer thin rubbish you'll find in the supermarket or a 'chic' cafe. Proper, solid, ham. I sit looking down this goliath of a sandwich genuinely thinking "How is this going to fit into my mouth?" All of this, for £2.35, that wouldn't even buy you the slice of wafer ham and rationed butter excuse for a sandwich Gregg's would sell.
I could rave all day about how fantastic these are, but as they say, the proof is in the pudding, and the proof is I'll be going there every day this week for my lunch.
If you're in the area, drop by to meet the cheeriest gentleman to ever give you food, and you will not be disappointed.

Nice little shop, lovely treats, service can be slow at times, and it can get crowded since it's a small shop. But I was given good service today from a lovely worker. So I was pleased.

Good food, but there's one problem, it's closed most of the time.
