Friendly little bakery on the busy main shopping street. Good choice of paninis and some tempting cakes. I thoroughly recommend the date and walnut scones!

Really bad customer service from a young member of staff today. Only asked which pasties were warm and asked if they could be put in 2 separate bags so we could eat straight away. Reply was very curt and said food was almost thrown across the counter to me! So rude, would suggest if you don’t like your customers then find another job!!

How rude is the short blond lady, so much so the lady with the red hair rolled her eyes as she replied to my question as to whether their were any pasties, from reading previous reviews this doesn't seem to be anything new from this store, such a bad atmosphere, also pasties were not even cooked to a good standard, pale and stogy.

Great selection of bread and cakes and usual bakery stuff where we picked up something to eat while waiting for our return journey. Picture - due to Google location mixing! - is taken at Pickering station at one end of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. 🙃

It doesn't matter how early I go they never have any Ciabatta bread Baps left, I was told there's not much demand for them in Pickering , perhaps there would be if they got more in.

Very rude unhelpful staff in here especially the women with the coloured purple / or is it ginger hair ...several times have I witness this women being blunt.rude ,and impatient, Eye rolling behaviour due to asking for a certain thing..staff re- training needed ....such a shame cant fault the cakes and food etc..but if im up for a challenge only then do I go in to this shop!!!
