Birds Bakery

Good range of bread, pastries, meats and cooked meat products. Sandwiches are normally pretty good. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Although the bread isn't as good as artisan bakers it is much nicer than the supermarket efforts

I like some of what's on offer but I do find it expensive. It's nothing special in my view. Looks like bakeries did in the 80's, though it appears to be very popular. For me, I prefer a place that offers a higher standard of choices. It's very mid range.

Poor lassie with blonde hair....I just gave her a crash course in Scottish accent and she survived..... bacon cob ok...bacon a bit solid and sausage cob with coffee....£6.75 👍

Never been to this Birds before, but as we were passing I popped in. Caramel topped doughnuts, don't have very often, but what a treat. Clean shop and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more.

This is a fantastic bakery serving nice cakes and it does breakfast rolls which are very tasty and excellent value for money, ideal before the start of a busy day at work, and they open fairly early too.
Good COVID safety with only two people allowed in at any one time. However I do find the mask wearing policy for the staff is a bit over the top now, it was better when they just had the plastic Face shields it dehumanizes people and it is very unfair on the staff.

Great bakery. Friendly staff, good sandwichs, rolls/cobs/baps/breadcakes/stoties. Good selection of cream cakes. Far better quality coffee and food compared to the nearest competitor (Greggs) all good 👍

Shop clean. All were masks. Staff very nice and friendly. Pork pie- delicious.

Brilliant produce, as ever. Friendly , helpful staff. Worth paying that little bit extra for every time.
