No complaints about the food, however, the customer service is absolutely woeful.

My mum went to Gail's today and she had a really bad experience with staff.

She was patiently waiting in the queue to be served, however, customers that arrived after her were warmly greeted by staff and asked to order. My mum was completely ignored and was let down by the staff in store this morning around 10:30ish (15/08/22).

Staff need to treat every customer the same and fairly and not favour customers that are further back in the queue.

Additionally, my mum pointed out that the almond croissants appeared overcooked and kindly enquired if there were any fresher ones available but was rudely told that there werent any fresh ones being baked at the time.

My mum often buys almond croissants from here and now wont be returning after this morning's experience.

Excellent bakery, friendly staff. Dog friendly for takeaway. I do wish they’d keep the bread away from nosy patrons as it doesn’t seem to be the most hygenic system.
Highly recommend the brownies and the hot chocolate. Wouldn’t suggest the babka or the spinach roll. When it’s available the Han and cheese croissant is lovely!

100% recommendable

The best bakery in the area! I normally buy my coffee there every day before going to work and the staff is always very friendly, smiling and they know what I want! And their manager Daniela is lovely.

When I want to treat myself, I go with my family for brunch there.

My favourites are the seeded bread, the spinach roll and the salmon beagle.

I am a frequent customer almost everyday. All is nice regarding staff and bakery. Only one issue regarding the definition of extra hot coffee as almost everyday they bring it just warm like normal and I have to return it and ask them to change it to a real extra hot .. it is a waste for them and for my time

I visited on sunday 16th at about lunchtime. I had been looking forward to baked eggs and sourdough but was very grumpily told ovens not working! As always food was great (coffee and cheese scone)but the blond girl who served me made it seem like I was an inconvenience. She didn't smile at all, while taking my order or bringing it to the table just looked like she really didn't want to be there. It really put me off

Yet another occasion where all breakfast / lunch eat-in options were “sold out”, at lunchtime… This (or some other excuse) is invariably what I hear when I try to eat at this particular branch of Gails.

Customer service very clearly not a priority here.

The worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time - ignored and then made to feel like a huge inconvenience. I asked for my coffee in my reusable cup which was a hassle apparently and having asked for a cappuccino I was given a cold latte at best! So unimpressed

I arrived home, open my bag, and this is what I got. Like what is this? Gail’s an expensive bakery, and for the price I expect my whole pastry. I think is reasonable.
