As I work in Exeter, this is the closest Greggs to my workplace. It's very hard to walk past this Greggs without popping in for a pasty or cake! The smell is too tempting and gets your stomach rumbling! This Greggs doesn't have a dining area or tables however I love that as, sometimes with the dining area it can be loud, plus 9 times out of ten I like to take it away and find somewhere to eat! This Greggs is opposite the entrance to the Cathedral Green, which is an amazing place to sit with a pasty and look at the stunning scenery. The range is excellent, the pasties and cakes are constantly topped up and even when the do run out they are no longer than 10 minutes from being ready. It's always busy inside but to be honest, it's the centre of Exeter, it's to be expected, especially at lunch time. The staff in this branch are so lovely, really smiley and very helpful! I can never doubt the effort this branch puts into their work! All really approachable and incredible customer service skills. The pasty they tell you if they are too hot or a little cooler, which again is a nice touch if you fancy a hot pasty. My favourite time to visit is at Christmas, when the Christmas pasty comes in! The best pasty I have had to this day, and I can honestly say I overly spend when they are around. The coffees are great, the soup is really nice and flavourful. I don't know what more I can say, I highly recommend a visit, one of my favourites.

The last two times I've used this Greggs I've been served by a staff member called Jay, this guy is a real asset to your business, super friendly and chirpy, he must brighten a lot of customers days. Greggs please make sure he gets the recognition he deserves.

Love Greggs, bit gutted they don't sell their bread rolls and baguettes separately anymore, but they still have the custard caramel doughnuts so I'm a happy lady.

I keep hoping that Greggs will reinstate their Original Custard Slices, the new "improved" lower sugar ones are rubbish. Poor texture, wishy washy taste and a poor imitation of the original. Yes it's lower sugar, but it's a poorer product, it's very good for my sugar consumption as I don't eat the new version at all. This also means I don't buy so many sausage rolls or donuts or steak slices. So thanks Greggs, you've saved me money and sugar but life isn't so sweet anymore.

I had a very embarrassing situation in Greggs today where the Apple Pay didn’t work on my phone. I was served by ? Mara. She sorted me out and went above and beyond which was so kind of her. I had to buy a box of chicks to say thank you. She is a credit to your organisation. Thank you.

What can I say, it's Gregg's. I love the chicken and stuffing baguettes.

I stop off here way too often on the way to work. Always spot-on breakfast food and coffee served by friendly staff. Perfect.
