Fantastic artisan bakery hidden along Moy Road off Albany Road or Macintosh Place also known as Friends in Knead.
Lovely sourdough bread and doughnuts to die for 😁

Amazing bakes. So tasty and generous portions. Plenty of cream cheese frosting on the cinnamon rolls, and loads of fresh cream inside and on top of the special pastry - the birthday queen.

Visited the actual shop on Moy Road - such a random place but a lovely little garage setup they have there. Staff milling around inside - so cool to see 'live' baking. Staff are hard at work inside. Fresh bakes are all set up at the front looking all yummy and delicious.

Social distancing and guidelines are all in place, only one set of customers allowed in store at one time, face masks required. The lady on the main front counter was nice, kept to herself a little bit I guess but was on hand for any queries. From the interactions that the company has on Instagram, I expected maybe a little bit more of a lively atmosphere or more staff interaction with customers but it's obviously not an issue. They're all very lovely and the bakes are amazing.

The most delicious freshly baked goods in Cardiff. Super friendly staff & the most incredible bread/ cakes. Go early to avoid missing out as its (understandably) very popular!!

Found this place through the amazing ‘Too good to go’ app, and I’m so glad I did. Hugely authentic and welcoming, felt like everything was being made just meters away from where it was being sold. Staff were extremely friendly. The doughnut (not pictured as it’s in my belly already) was probably the best doughnut I’ve had in my life. If everything else is the same standard then I’m in for a treat!

I collected a Too Good To Go bag today and was excited to see what I got as I had never heard of this bakery ....well I was not disappointed the donuts are the best i've ever tasted - I'll be telling everyone about your donuts! All the goodies were beautiful and fresh. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Some of the best baked goods I have ever tasted! The flavours of the doughnuts and Queens change quite often so you can try lots of different ones. Really pleased to have such a high quality bakery nearby. Their sister café The Early Bird is also lovely (can't wait to visit again when they can reopen!). They also sell a good selection of deli/pantry items e.g jams, pasta, condiments etc and offer a delivery service.

Amazing! As always! This has been a lock down life saver! I have visited them all the way through lock down and will continue when life goes back to "normal".
Great selection of goods, the bread is fantastic shame it doesn't last longer in our house!
Really passionate and friendly staff and now they have open one in Barry at the Goodsheds so my mum can see what I have been going on about all this time!
