You know what you're going to get. Bacon roll and coffee for £2.50. You get plenty of bacon, really good coffee and it's exceptional value. Staff are always helpful, friendly and polite. What more can you ask for?!

Usual fresh sandwiches and nice coffee. Staff not that friendly.

Waited just over 15 minutes for staff to serve 3 people in front of me. 4 staff, only one doing something useful with customers. I was shocked at how long it was taking. When I get to the counter, the staff walked away and I stood there for a full minute wondering what was going on. On trying to pay for 2 baguettes in what should have been an < 30 second transaction, I was being overcharged. Raising this and the staff member argued about it, I went back to check the price to see that I was right about the price. I resigned myself to writing off the circa ~40p because it wasn't worth it, paid by card and left. The staff member on the till then chased after me insisting I hadn't paid and I was stealing. Went back to the shop to be told I had paid after all.

An enraging, unnecessarily complicated experience akin to being tested. Nearly 20 minutes to buy two baguettes I picked up off a shelf. In any other shop it would have been < 1 minute, pop in and out.
I will never go back to this shop. Please ensure your staff are trained and able to do their extremely basic, simple job.

Excellent service and great coffee and delicious steak bake, fine dining and served by a charming woman. What's not to like!

Nice friendly staff and opens till 8 so you can get a cheeky hot choccy while walking the dog. Even though I don't have a dog,I imagine it would be delightful 😋
