Was looking for a coffee on the way to north wales so google’ d costa and saw this place opposite. Great coffee and great selection of cakes, pies and pasties that you won’t find anywhere else. Would highly recommend to support the local business. This is a great stop off, will recommend it to the colleagues.

Nice pasties but whoever serves on a Saturday they never have them ready till late on so a loss of sales there however food is good

Beautiful little bakery that reminded me of something out of a Charles Dickens novel!

I really appreciated the witty humour from the owner, took me by surprise! Very good knowledge of the products too and all home made! She was also very friendly and told me a little about Welshpool too.

Will be grabbing something sweet here for my trip back to Bristol on Monday and something for my partner.

Update:

Lovely to see that the bakery has different items in each day! Different lady I spoke to today, but again was lovely to talk to. Picked up 2 bits of tiffin and a flapjack today to take back to Bristol.

Had an amazing Cornish pasty and a steak and blue cheese pasty here when popping into Welshpool. I'm based in Scotland now and pasties aren't the same up here. It was such a good reminder of an excellent Cornish pasty, highly recommend. They heated it, we're super friendly, took cards, and we're fine about the dog coming in.

Stopped in by chance had a blue cheese topped pork pie and a steak and Stilton pasty. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Just wish I could have had one of everything in the shop. The cakes and other savoury pastries looked so nice. It made choosing very hard. Would make a trip to welshpool especially to visit here .

Nothing special, was hoping to find something different and better than other bakeries or even the bakery section in supermarkets. The peanut butter brownie was just a plain chocolate brownie with mini peanut butter cups on top. While it looked nice, the carrot cake muffin had an odd taste towards the bottom (a mix of burnt and unmixed raising agent) and the icing on top tasted artificial. Pretty disappointing.

Adore this lil place. It’s absolutely the best coffee in Welshpool (and probably the surrounding 10-15 miles…) haven’t tried rhe bread but all of the cakes and pastries I’ve had have been really excellent.

I have to forget the calories when I visit the bakery. The cakes are delicious, ( especially the bread pudding!). There is a wide variety of bread, and I have great difficulty in deciding which loaf to buy. The staff are really friendly and helpful. As I live in Cheshire, due to Lockdown, I can't shop there at the moment. However, as soon as it's possible, I will be back.
