Bailey Balloons

No words could ever describe the feeling you have when floating in a giant basket in the air. I could not recommend this enough, no matter how scared of heights you could be, it has been a magical experience, and surprisingly very peaceful!
The crew and our pilot for the night, Mike, were all so friendly, welcoming and professional. Mike was a great guide throughout the flight, showing us many areas and hidden gems, while still letting us enjoy the experience. Great balance.
The views were breathtaking, a delight for photography fanatics. It was lovely to see the areas you know from a different view, and spotting wildlife enjoying their evening.
I felt very safe, and in good hands from start to finish. Bailey Balloons looks well after their passengers.
It was a once in a lifetime experience!

Something I have wanted to do for years and I was not disappointed...We flew from Llanarth near Raglan, and the scenery in the area was fantastic. The flight crew were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when it came to the "hands on" part of the experience...keeping the balloon canopy taut, helping to deflate the canopy, folding and loading! Safety instructions and landing procedures were all very clearly given. Would have liked to travel further than we did, but the wind God's were absent on the day. Hoping to do it all again sooner rather than later! Thank you to all involved...

What an absolutely fantastic experience. It was so calming and relaxing. You just float along so peacefully. We flew over raglan and the views were absolutely stunning.
Mike, mark and Richard were so lovely and jolly and everything was just perfect.
This was something I thought that I would only do once, however I didn't want to land and I will definitely be flying with them again.
I highly recommend, and even if your not keen on heights it's really so peaceful it would be hard not to relax and enjoy the ride, this is something I think everyone should do!
Thanks guys, and we'll be back again soon. We want to fly over Bristol next time!

Brilliant experience having a private flight over Bristol. Top quality service from the booking team who were quick to reschedule when the weather let us down. Would thoroughly recommend as a special experience.

Booking the ride was super easy and communication with them about the tickets was easy as well, since I was traveling from overseas (hello from North Dakota!) and wanted to be able to transfer my ticket to someone else should weather not work out for the date booked.
Our pilot was super friendly, as were the other staff involved with setting up and giving us rides back to our take off point.
The views were amazing, weather was perfect! Taking off felt so cool and so was the landing. We enjoyed the drinks at the end of the flight and chatting with all those involved in making such an amazing experience happen.

I was given a Bristol Balloon Fiesta flight for my birthday from my hubby.
The whole process was simple to book. The Bailey Balloons team were friendly & helpful.
My flight was absolutely amazing & an unforgettable experience with, Mike, the pilot. We launched & you didn’t even feel you had left the ground. Being amongst all the other balloon’s at the fiesta was magical & I will treasure forever. Thankfully I booked the morning flight because the evening flights had to be cancelled due to the heatwave. Mike told us to take our landing position & my apprehensions were unfounded to the smoothest landing I could have wished for, even landing upright.

Unforgettable experience. Everything about the flight was perfect. We were lucky enough to fly in our first booking. Weather was perfect, a lovely still warm June evening. It was so peaceful and incredible views. Crew were friendly, informative and helpful. This was a Christmas present for my mum and one she will not forget. Would have no hesitation in recommending Bailey balloons.

My son and I had an awesome flight on the afternoon of Monday 11th October, from Royal Victoria Park in Bath. My Son Alexander really loved helping to set things up. Our pilot Mike was very attentive and got us to all listen up whilst telling us all of the safety procedures that we had to adhere to. The balloon basket was massive taking 16 people in 4 section + the pilot. It took about 45 minutes to set up and Mike was busy checking and double checking. The weather was kind, gentle south east wind and sunshine and not at all cold. Because the breeze was kind and gentle we did not get any further than Brassknocker Hill, landing so gently we hardly knew we had. The Flight over Bath was glorious, able to see buildings in such detail, never knew that there are allotments in central Bath, views of the Abbey stunning, and so many churches, University on top of the Skyline are was fantastic. Mike was a great pilot keeping us informed whilst communicating with his HQ and I think the Met office too. His team tracked us via Mikes on board GPS track system. We all felt so safe and well looked after. After landing and packing away it was champagne all round. I think that I would like to do this again next year for my 70th birthday. Overall very impressed with the professionalism and friendly manner of all concerned.
