Always a huge queue, sometimes over an hours wait for counter service, the bank is only open part time, it's appallingly poor. It's high time that the customers collectively complained, Barclays have already closed numerous local branches, including the busy, popular and convenient Old Hill branch. How many cutbacks do they need to implement?

I would not use this branch the paying manchine broken they don’t but a sign on it so how do we know then when u call the customer service they said they let the manager know to do that hasn’t the manager go a bit of common sense to do this anyway told them I close my account down and there was not really bothered

disgusting customer service I would void Barclays all together is my advice there

Just got back from this bank, place was full of people with very little staff. The one and only counter was closed, I asked when it would be open and was told the counter is for business transactions only, before I had chance to say I needed to pay in change the staff member had walked off. I found another member of staff and asked how was I supposed to pay the bill that contained change and was told at the counter, I also asked if I could draw out change and was told yes. Eventually I got to the counter and paid the bill, I then asked to draw out the cash including the change, I was told I would have to draw out the money at the machine, then come back to the counter to have it changed into change! This done I was told the bank had the pound coins I wanted but didn't have the £5 in 20ps. How can a bank not have £5 worth of 20ps.
They really need to remove their boards saying they are here to help.

I have just received a text with the new opening hours. This is a bank which no matter what time of day you visit is always full. Yet they are still reducing the opening hours.! Not good what about people who work, shop keepers who need to safely bank their takings ?disgusting.

Part time opening hours offer absolutely ZERO support to customers who work!!! Seriously considering changing my bank after over 20 years of being a good customer, gone from good to bad to worse than describable!!!

Tend to use the machines, usually in and out in 10 to 15 minutes. Hours are a little better now but Saturday morning would be handy. Especially for working customers.
