Halifax

The staff at this branch are excellent however Halifax (the bank that gives you extra) does not,- it is the bank that takes eXtra from you compared to NATIONWIDE who I also bank with, that's how I know. Sorry Halifax, but so many services are free with NATIONWIDE, but are charged with Halifax. It's a no- brainer I'm putting all my money into NATIONWIDE. - no more charges, GREAT. So come on vote with your feet DONT PUT UP WITH IT.

Customer service is brilliant at this branch, staff are very friendly and more importantly down to earth.

Staff in the main are helpful at this branch. However Halifax as an institution are one of the most expensive banks to deal with and I find that the staff here can't make a decision on anything without having to speak to head office. I bank elsewhere now and only use the account here as a back up or to pay bills. The only Xtra I got from Halifax is hassle and extortionate charges!!

I'm quite new to Halifax as it my second bank now but the service I've received today from a personal adviser was superb. Very professional, quick and really trying to actually help and find the best option for the client. So far the best experience I've had.

Every time I use this branch I'm assisted by the friendliest and most helpful staff who seem genuinely invested in customer service. Seems like a great team dynamic and is lovely to experience.

Nice and warm on entry well clean and tidy staff are more than willing to help you with what ever enquiries you have plenty of seating

The folkestone branch is closed today due to the weather. At least they could have mentioned this on the website and not just a message on the door and saved me a trip.

The external cash machine does not accept deposits, and neither did the one in Canterbury on Saturday. Considering the bank has short opening hours the ability to deposit through external machines would be useful.
