Why does it take 35 minutes to serve a customer.....?

JUST CROSS OVER THE ROAD AND OPEN AN ACCOUNT IN THE many OTHER BANKS THAT ARE AVAILABLE ON THE HIGH STREET !!

Always busy but someone always comes to help here. A decent sized Halifax with good self service counters to prevent wasting time incase you are in a hurry. Open till 5pm everyday except sundays.

Had to wait a long time to get served, unclear whether to sit and wait or just go straight to the desk at the back - found doing the latter quicker. Once served it was clear why there such a long wait as the staff seemed pretty incompetent although eventually got the job done.

Always asked to use the paying in machines, however today neither were working. 6 people in the queue for the counter but only 1 person behind it. No urgency to get the queue down. Made to feel like your an inconvenience as the manager just saw the queue a d walked away. No apology for having to wait 25 mins....

Sometimes you have to wait long but I always had great service. Also, there overdraft was a great blessing for me during my masters studies. So I definitely recommend Halifax.

Terrible service, wasn't allowed to pay cash into my account behind the counter. Was told i had to use the machine. Complaint in process!

It's really bad for customer service as well as any form of liason in terms of understanding there no longer a bank but a banking financial provider allowing access to funds while charging customers for transactions and purchases with currency exchange unexplained to all and modifying the values of currency in customers accounts by managing transactions without acknowledgement to anyone.

Been a few times and from my own experience staff have always been helpful and friendly. Does get a bit busy on Saturday's so come plan ahead.
