The poorest branch I've ever visited. Each advisor tells you a different thing, I don't actually think any of them have the same knowledge of the company's processes. Managed to lose my application for an account and after one advisor promised to take full responsibility for my application never contacted me again until I had complained. Thankfully NatWest compensated me but I won't ever be going back to this branch.

Have never had a good experience in this Natwest and I regret becoming a customer here. On several occassions I have tried to sort out and close a joint account to which I have had no success, each time I go to the branch I am given different information from different people. Also found it incredibly difficult to get the bank manager to sign a copy of my passport for me for a visa validation when it stated that I needed to get it signed by a specific list of people, one being a bank manager.

Whatever you do don't have your appointment with Diana. My husband and I had an appointment with her to open a savings account for our daughter and she left the room with her passport to have it validated by her manager. After 20 minutes we went out to see what the delay was and learned that Diana had GIVEN OUR DAUGHTERS PASSPORT to another customer, after asking us 'didnt I give it back to you?' The other staff members then got involved and were ringing the other customer repeatedly to get her to come back, as she had left already. The other innocent customer who was given our daughters passport came back immediately, and the members of staff wanted HER to apologise to us!
Sadly as with most bank branches these days, the Putney branch is incredibly understaffed with a few members of staff attending to all customers at the same time. Diana's incompetence, in addition to her lack of knowledge of how to correctly open a bank account (she made multiple errors that had to be fixed), is truly shocking.

Trudy was one of the nicest most caring person i ever met in natwest... Or anywhere. I had a small problem and she did her hardest to sort it. I got a date wrong and she went searching checks throughout the whole of February but it was in march and she never got upset with me.. wasting her time. And everyone else is so friendly. Good people and a good bank!

First time coming to this branch as was in the area, to only find extremely rude and unhelpful staff member at the paying in desk today, I had got change counted and I didn’t understand how to enter it in the cheque book, all this lady said was just write in the book and come back once it’s done and gave me a pen. I knew from first encounter that this old lady was going to cause a problem. She even misread the cheque book and the amount I’m paying in, which is a real concern for someone who paying into business account. Shame, I won’t be using this branch again, ill stick to the branch in Wimbledon who are far more welcoming and respectful.

Absolutely disgraceful experience by Tracey Bullpin. We spent over an hour in branch trying to close accounts due to bereavement. I have never experienced such terrible customer service nor indifference and lack of empathy regarding the death of family members. We were due to use Natwest for our Mortgage, we will no longer be doing this. Disgusting service

I have recently moved to Natwest Putney from Lloyds. Having a grandma who used to be a branch manager, the customer service has been very important for me in banks. Anyway, I'd like to thank Kelly and Foday especially, as they helped me best they could with care and smile on their faces. The waiting time wasn't long at all although it was Friday afternoon and there was interaction with bank personnel whilst waiting, which makes the difference. They directed me to the right solutions best way they could. In the end, I did apply for a business account and secured a meeting with a mortgage adviser. So, thank you Natwest Putney!
