It's not open on a Saturday. Why say it is? Thanks, just cycled up. Complete waste of time! Also get with the times and install a pay in cash machine that doesn't require you to fill out a slip and place the amount in an envelope.

rude staff, long waiting times and small bank. no use of the machines as any checking into your account has to be done by waiting for the till workers who are really slow. while I really like other HSBC banks, this one just wasted my time.

Adequate for basic banking needs but would be nice to have the next generation of machines to pay in notes and cheques without having to use the envelopes. Also a machine for paying in coins would be ideal.

What is the point of this? Not a full service branch. for anyone wanting anything other than getting out/paying in money have to go to Clapham junction

Appalling service from this branch. Totally ignored by slobby unkempt sweaty man behind the counter even though I was the only person in the queue. He wouldn’t even look up at me.
The machine for printing statements wasn’t working and there was a poor guy using the phone service that was clearly distressed as his lost card had been used and he was trying to get the card stopped. The hsbc telephone contact asked to speak to someone in branch and there response was “why” , rolling eyes and huffing they said they couldn’t come out to help him. In the end a staff member reluctantly came out from behind her screen and muttered about how useless the phone staff were. Utterly dreadful service.

My partner and I recently opened a joint account, we wanted a statement with both of our names on. We went into the branch on Monday, and were told the statement would take 24 hours to generate and would be available on our online banking. On Tuesday the statement had yet to come up, Wednesday, still nothing. On Thursday I went back to the branch to find out what was going on. Turns out the statement was never ordered, nor would it be possible to access via online banking. The women who helped me on Thursday wasn't wearing a mask, and she was picking her nose and her teeth right in front of me and then touching my card and passport - it was revolting! She then told me the account wasn't a joint account, and was my partners account which I simply had access to. Then I had to go back to the branch, again, on Friday to now collect the statement...I mean seriously, the amount of admin to get this statement was a joke and unbelievably frustrating! I got the statement in the end (a week and three visits to the branch later). I then asked about the account and was told it was in fact a joint account. The level of incompetency is astounding. I cannot believe in 2021 it's this difficult to get a statement, it's completely outrageous.

This whole situation has started us looking elsewhere to bank.

Finally manage to go here and there’s a sign it’s “temporarily closed”!!! No indication until when. You could at least bother to update your Google maps listing!!!
